You might have a Roomba vacuuming your floor, but wouldn’t it be nice to have a robot defending your house?That’s what Steve Norris thought. There aren’t a whole lot of home defense robots available, so he built his own, The Patrolbot Mark II. It has a night vision camera and a flashlight. The remote-controlled robot patrols his yard. Intruders get a blast from a car horn. If that doesn’t deter them, Norris sprays them with water. Here’s a video of it in action:
