Smart Bed Makes Itself

Perhaps the only thing worse than having to get out of bed is making it. One Spanish furniture company is aiming to change that with its smart bed.

The bed, produced by OHEA, has two settings, automatic and manual. When the automatic mode is activated, when you get out of bed, it uses cords to automatically pull up the covers and the pillows, tucking the duvet cover neatly under the pillows in less than a minute. A video demonstrates the concept:

You don’t have to worry about your bed strangling you in your sleep. The bed has sensors to prevent it from activating while you’re still in it. Of course, if you’re paranoid or actually prefer making the bed the old-fashioned way, you can just keep it in manual mode.

If you want another cool geeky bed to sleep in, you can’t do much better than an AT-AT bunk bed. You might still need the best alarm clock ever if you have trouble getting up in the morning.
