It’s been 30 years since the book The Neverending story came out in English, and 29 since the wonderful film adaptation came out. It’s a good opportunity to show you some wonderful character re-designs by Nicolas Francoeur.
The names are according to the 1984 film, not the Michael Ende fantasy novel. The film actually adapts only the first half of the book, deviating from the message the title conveys. He tried to get the production to halt or change the name of the film. When that failed he sued them, but lost.
