There has been quite a bit of talk about the new Droid 3 but for the first time it appears that actual specifications are beginning to leak out.
One website, TechnoBuffalo apparently has an inside tipster who has come through before that has given them quite a few details about the newest Droid creation. Apparently since that inside scoop was first given, there are a few things that have been confirmed with the company and finally real, specific features and specs are out there for the world to see.
The Verizon Motorola Droid 3 will first of all have a 4-inch qHD screen. That particular piece of information has been out there for a while but it has now been confirmed as fact. Another nice new feature that Droid phone users will be happy about is a fifth row of numbers that will finally offer a dedicated line of keys to numbers. The newest addition to the Droid family will apparently be running on a dual-core processor which is rumored to be the NVIDIA Tegra 2. The Motorola Droid 3 will also have an HDMI cable out, which will allow people to watch video from the phone on your High Definition television. There will also be a front facing camera that will shoot both pictures and video, though the resolution is not yet known; and an eight mega pixel camera on the back.
One surprise in the latest batch of rumors is apparently the confirmation that the Droid 3 will not be included on Verizon’s LTE network which seems like an odd decision but one that isn’t particularly disputed.
What is still very much in doubt is what kind of operating system will be running on the Verizon Motorola Droid 3. It doesn’t seem likely that ice cream sandwich will actually be on these phones, which could mean that you will still have to stick with our instructions on how you can actually speed up your Android device.
While the Verizon Motorola Droid 3 is expected to be released sometime in June, there is not price out there yet, but considering how quickly information is beginning to come, that shouldn’t remain a mystery for much longer.
