The Epic Tale of Batman, All in One Mansion

The entire Batman tale, with most of his impressive villain gallery in one drawing  depicting the caped crusader running through a mansion? Sign me up.

Les McClaine, who publishes his sketches on evilspacerobot.com drew up a little something called Mayhem at the Manor, depicting Bruce Wayne going through the Penguin, Scarecrow, Ivy, Two-Face, Bane, The Joker and Two Face, all in one drawing, with some help from Robin and Catwoman, with the two falling in love or something similar on the way.

This epic piece of art was up for sale as a poster for a while, but it was super-limited edition of sorts, selling out after 250 copies being shipped.

The full size image is a bit too big, so just go here for the bigger than life experience.

Speaking of Batman, we’re exactly five months away from the release of The Dark Knight Rises, the third and final installment in Christopher Nolan’s reboot of the character on the big screen, setting new standards from comic book films with the dark tone of the comics captured perfectly, pretty much, with only the PG-13 limitation somewhat dulling the experience.

Besides the wait for seeing how well Nolan inserts his new villains – Bane (Tom Hardy) and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) who isn’t exactly 100% bad or good, knowing that this will be the last time Nolan and Christian Bale team-up to make Batman, and knowing Bane did break the bat during a famous storyline back in the 1990’s, many wonder if the unheard will actually be executed on screen, with the comic book hero ending the trilogy by dying.

Till then, enjoy the trailer.
