The players can witness the havoc wrecked in the original continents of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms which have been scarred forever, from the devastated Badlands to the broken Barrens. New parts of the world has been made accessible, including Uldum, Grim Batol, and the Sunken City of Vashj’ir.

The expansion will be released on DVD-ROM for Windows XP/Vista/7 and Macintosh at a tentative retail price of $39.99 and will also be available for download from the Blizzard Store. A special Collector’s Edition packed with bonus items, priced at $79.99 packed will also be available in stores.
