Can You Cover Zelda Music With Wine Glasses? Apparently So

There’s nothing quite like watching a one man show put together an impressive musical piece.  It can be tough to pull off, but given the number of performances we’ve featured here on Walyou alone, the possibility is always there. So, naturally, when I came across this Zelda Wine Glass cover done by “Sp0ntanius” I thought it was great. I mean who really sits down and says “You know what would be awesome? Covering Zelda songs with an orchestra of wineglasses.” Well..that guys does, and there’s plenty of visual cleverness included to keep you interested for the duration of the rather short video.

It’s pretty obvious that Mr. Sp0ntanius (geez that takes me a long time to type out that name) here put a lot of time and effort into the video, but he does have one request towards the end. At present, he only has a few inklings of ideas for future works, so if you’re so inclined, put on the old thinking cap and come up with some! I can’t say that Zelda: Majora’s Mask was my favorite of the series, but that doesn’t make recreating the music with wine glasses any less fun. Personally, I’d like to see something done with the HALO soundtrack, or that song from the upcoming Battleblock Theatre game. You know, the trailer with the super epic music. Someone could do something rad with that, I just know it.

If you’re looking for some other fun zelda stuffs, not to worry, we have you covered. There’s this Zelda papercraft video, for example, which stretches across a variety of hilarious skits. If you want something a little more tangible, I can suggest this life sized papercraft Link model. I’d love to have one of these in my dining room, as you couldn’t ask for a better conversation starter.
