What’s the new year release line up for Nintendo? Kid Icarus: Uprising for the Nintendo 3DS and so much more.
Release dates, release dates, release dates! If that’s what you want, bearing in mind that you’re an owner of a Nintendo product of course, you’ve come to the right place. The Big N has loosely set in stone it’s own release schedule for the first half of 2012, and happily, it contains quite a few hot names on it, say Kid Icarus: Uprising for the Nintendo 3DS as an example.
Let’s start at the beginning though with February, which sees the GameStop exclusive release of the Circle Pad Pro, or as I like to call it “Big Bertha,” on the 7th. The Circle Pad Pro is the second analog-stick attachment that clings onto the 3DS; which for $19.99, is only supported by two games currently, Resident Evil: Revelations (also available on Feb. 7) and Metal Gear Solid 3D Snake Eater.
Heading into March with flapping wings and arrows targeted on baddies, it’s Kid Icarus: Uprising on the 23rd. Lead designed by Super Smash Bros. and Kirby creator, Masahiro Sakurai, it’s Pit’s long awaited return to the Nintendo 3DS, as the little fly-boy battles the forces of a reborn Medusa who seeks to destroy mankind — yeah, that old parlor trick, I know.
Now, as for the rest of Nintendo’s release dates, they are all listed below, nice and tidy. Some games I should point out are still missing they’re full retail date, so you’ll just have to stay tuned if you’re interested in Funky Barn or Karaoke Joysound (please tell me you’re not. Seriously, like, waste your time on this Star Wars escalator or these awesome Star Wars snowflakes — much better alternatives.)
