StarCraft 2 Battlecruiser Time-lapse Video

StarCraft II was released in July 2010 and is a sequel to the award-winning 1998 video game StarCraft.

Being a military science fiction real-time strategy video game, it has achieved a cult status among gamers and those who like science fiction. Just like any other cult-like video game, Star Craft II has its fan boys who never miss an opportunity to create something that is inspired by this game.

Mega Blok offered a limited edition StarCraft II Battlecruiser at the BlizzCon earlier this year and fanboys have been looking for the model ever since. The lucky ones who managed to get the building blocks kit usually take between 3 and 6 hours to build the 1,738 kit. Sargonas7, a StarCraft Ii fanboy used a Nikon D7000 to take a picture every 3 seconds as he built his model in about six and half hours.

The snapshots have been converted in a time-lapse video which would help other StarCraft II fans to learn how to solve the puzzle and build the Battlecruiser in less time than they would have otherwise. The kit is not made of Lego building blocks and is a separate brand altogether. Mega Block secured the rights of several franchises and StarCraft II is one of them.

StarCraft kits would be available to the masses in 2013, and they also have some really cool models lined up for 2012. If you cannot wait that long, you could head straight towards eBay, where you could try and get the limited edition Mega Blok StarCraft II Battlecruiser model for a whopping $205.

If I were you, I would wait until cheaper versions of the kit arrived in the market, but if you are a fanboy who just can’t wait any longer, you could try and get the kit on eBay. Meanwhile, do take a look at the video which will impress you with the guy’s skills at building the model. You could also take a look at the StarCraft 2 Papercraft, which is not only cool but also beautiful in its own way.
