Find out what games will be in store (hopefully) for the Wii U’s launch with this handy dandy list.
Well now that we’ve got the Wii U launch date and pricing SKUs out of the way, let’s focus on games. Or how a gaming podcast I listen to frequently says… the games, dammit! And in this area, Nintendo presented many on-stage during their big media presser in New York City.
Certainly, some ripe fascinating stuff. Including one title (a megaton!) that I bet surprised everyone’s socks off – seriously, Bayonetta 2? I said, wow. But in typical, albeit reasonable, Nintendo fashion, everything shown carried no exact release date and was grouped under a vague “launch window” release period.
No brain-er stuff like New Super Mario Bros. U and NintendoLand will definitely be there “day one,” so to speak. Although, for everything else? Well, Nintendo described the “launch window” as between the time when the Wii U comes out, November 18, all the way through March of 2013.
So, uh… yeah. Till then.
Anywho… Why don’t you look at this sizzle reel from Nintendo, briefly going over a handful of the titles (a bunch the public knows of already) expected for the console during its launch window, while I go prepare a list for you:
Done? Cool.
Here below is that list I mentioned. More accurately though, a list of Wii U launch window games (according to an *whispers* industry source, the MSRP for games will top at $59.99USD). It’s an ample list of titles, but whether they’re important to you, is where your decision on if Nintendo’s latest hardware is right for you, matters most.
I don’t know about you guys and gals, but I buy gaming consoles for their games. That’s how it’s supposed to work, right? Well, whatever the case may be, check out that list.
