The much anticipated news about Metal Gear Solid: Rising has leaked onto the web thanks to it’s leaked trailer.
Well, we knew for quite a while that there was some super big news coming for the next long-awaited project from Kojima Production’s Metal Gear Solid: Rising at tonight’s Video Game Awards on Spike. We just didn’t expect it to be this big.
From a trailer that has just surprising leaked before the airing of the VGA’s — and believe me folks it is some wild stuff — we not only see the current state of the slice-and-dice action romp starring cyborg ninja Raiden, but it’s new Die Hard-esque monicker, Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance.
If that weren’t head-turning enough (you might want to sit down for this), the trailer also gives credence to another unbelievable development (seriously, you should really sit down for this, I’m not kidding, grab a glass of water if need be) that was rumored around the time of this year’s E3 (final warning dude).
No longer is Kojima Productions behind the production of Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance, but rather Bayonetta and Vanquish developer, Platinum Games. Megaton, indeed.
Oh and if you’re looking for a video of the leaked trailer — no chance of it here (but my link above to IGN should.) Viacom is blocking every YouTube link in sight. So you’re just going to have to tune into the Spike VGAs to see it, which should be airing right now in fact!
If not, you could just stay here and check out if the legendary creator of Mario & Zelda is stepping down at Nintendo, or how about these five awesome geek marriage proposals as video game hacks.
