If you’re a child of the ’90s, you might remember watching “Beavis and Butthead,” or at least sneaking a peek after your parents forbade you from watching it. Now they’ve escaped into the real world.
The gutter-minded heavy metal-l teens have made the transition to real life thanks to Hollywood makeup artist Kevin Kirkpatrick. What looks cool in cartoons is just plain creepy in real life, however. Butt-head’s braces become more obvious and his eyes seem rather bloodshot. (Perhaps he’s been indulging in what a lot of underachieving metalhead teens like to do?) You can also see his zits with astounding and disgusting clarity.
Beavis, on the other hand, looks positively manic, as if he’s about to pull his Metallica shirt over his head and shift into his alter ego, “Cornholio,” and demand “Rolios for his bunghole.”
Fans may be celebrating the series’ recent return to the airwaves, but even hardcore fans may find themselves having difficulty sleeping after seeing their favorite characters in real life.
