Whether you know it or you don’t, it’s the era of 8-bit. I mean, it’s obsolete in terms of actual graphics and computer games, but on the web? There isn’t an aspect of geek culture that doesn’t get the 8-bit re-do, and popular movies and their posters are no exception. Done by Eric Palmer, he decided to touch some of the more popular films from recent years – 300, Harry Potter, Iron Man, but also touch a couple of classics like Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.

For some more 8-Bit awesomeness, there’s no need to look very far – Classic paintings like the Mona Lisa have already went through the 8-Bit treatment, and obviously video game character like Mario and Mega Man as well.
