Alright, so let us first admit that the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man has never been a scary one. Although they portray it as one scary figure in Ghostbusters, it doesn’t even scare off the kids. But, here is the thing… to make it scarier, Jason Freeny added an actual anatomy touch to it.
Yup, now you just don’t get a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, but you get one with half of its body being an anatomical sculpt. Moreover, the thing is hand sculpted and is made from a vinyl action figure.
This figure stands 6.5 inches tall and is pretty much scary for kids especially. The best part is that the toy used is actually an old 1984 vinyl toy. Besides, there are some surface wear and discoloration on the vinyl. Oh, by the way, don’t play it with, it might break; It is more a showpiece than a toy. You can keep it on your desk or in your car. And, yes beware, maybe the Ghostbusters team can hunt you down. Of course, they hate ghosts and seeing anyone holding up the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man can make them angry and furious!
What I particularly like about the product is that each and every detail has been worked on well. Although the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man has been around for more than 2 decades now, it has always been hard to find a good piece. But, here it is! If you are a fan of the Ghostbusters movie, then this is a must have product. I wouldn’t call it a toy because it’s not meant to be one. Yup, you can gift it to your fellas on Halloween, but make sure they don’t start bouncing it off. The poor Marshmallow guy might break his limbs, and you wouldn’t want that, would you? So, be gentle to it and make sure you take care of him well.
The product currently has a bid of $483. If you want to have it, you shouldn’t waste your time. Go and bid before someone else does, and you might lose this Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Anatomy Sculpt by Jason Freeny.
