Alien Vs Predator Requiem Mask: Almost Makes Up For the Movie

Ok so I’ll be honest here, after I saw the first Alien Vs. Predator movie, I died a little inside. How they could take a concept so badass, and turn it into a terrible movie blew my mind. As such when Alien Vs Predator: Requiem was released, I didn’t really have any desire to see it. I guess that doesn’t mean I should write off any merchandise from the movie, though. Just take a look at this Aliens vs Predator Requiem Predator Deluxe Mask. Sure the movie may be awful, but at least, the costumes still look good.

This mask comes just in time for Halloween, but you better make sure you have the proper physique to pull off a Predator. Seriously, I don’t want to see you frumpy predators or beanpole predators sullying the good name of the galaxy’s most ruthless and efficient hunters. It is made out of (surprise!) latex, and comes with a removable PVC face plate, so you can have a cool-looking alien mask OR big ugly beasty. Your choice there, bucko. It runs for $54.99.

But if you’re not into the whole “dress up at Halloween” thing, it isn’t a total loss. This baby also serves as a conveniently disguised collectible item. Alternatively, if you work in the agricultural industry I can’t think of a more badass scarecrow than this guy’s ugly mug. Those crows won’t come within 300 yards of your delicious corn. There are some other masks out there that could perform this role quite well, too. The Hellboy Mask comes to mind, as does this very real-looking Red Dragon mask. Come to think of it, I should totally go as a dragon for Halloween this year. My beer bottle costume drew some laughs last year, but probably not quite as intimidating as I’d like.
