If you’re like the rest of the Americans preparing for a Halloween even more awesome last year, then it’s time to start planning for your costume (if you haven’t already).
However, you want to choose one with good taste that will look amazing on you and your body – something that’ll really enhance your attributes. Forget the scary monster masks that cover up your naturally rosy cheeks. Try something other than the cliche pirate, witch or Star Wars played out, sickly popular costumes. Don’t even think about trying out a Steve Jobs costume … it’s too early for that. No, you want something that’ll turn the heads of all your fellow geeks at the party.
This group of friends decided it is time to break out the tiaras and hoop skirts … this year, they’re going as very manly, but delicate, Disney princesses.
Ethan Trewhitt photographed this group of eight geeky friends that were willing to risk (and, in some cases, bare) it all and head to Dragoncon as Ariel the Little Mermaid, Snow White, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Pocahontas, Tinker Bell and Jasmine from Aladdin.
Still not convinced Disney is quite your style? Super Mario dressed up as Steamboat Willie and these Star Wars characters were also Disney-fied.
