So, we all love chess games, and we all love Star Wars, how about a merger of both? Wouldn’t that bring much more fun to the game and would revive those old memories? That’s exactly the main reason why Brandon Griffith designed these two Star Wars Chess Sets.Trust me, they are not like most of the Star Wars stuff you get out there which is, to be honest, pretty bland and of the classic touch. These two chess sets are really made in a way that it would amuse even the ones who don’t know anything about Star Wars. Beautifully crafted, neatly spaced, and most of all, they are made from Lego blocks!

Remember how furious Darth Vader was to gain victory over the Rebel Alliance in The Empire Strikes Back (the movie)? Ah, you don’t remember?! But don’t worry, this chess set will make you recall the plot and that battle once again. All of the major characters from the movie are on the chess board ready to face their enemies, and go to the battleground with them. Why wait? Make the move, and let the battle start! May the mightier one win!

A New Hope Lego Chess Set:
This one’s actually not as amusing as the Empire Strikes Back Chess Set, still it is one piece of art that you would love to keep. This one is more of the plain and neat-looking type. It is simple and the figures are smaller too compared to the Empire Strikes Back set. Nevertheless, it is still great to see how well the creator has designed the whole board. Basically, I don’t like the figures in this one as much as I like the board’s make. Each and every detail has been worked out well, and the final product is just awe-inspiring.

Apart from all things, the bad news is these Chess sets are still not yet official. So, I guess we all should join our hands and pray for Lego to officially start producing such chess sets for fans. Lego with Star Wars is just the best combination I have ever known.
