We’ll admit it: we squealed like little girls when we saw the Proto-Xenomorph on screen during Prometheus, and we know at least one artist was as excited as we were. Hence, he created this sculpture with the design seen in the movie.
The “proto-xenomorph” seen in Prometheus has already engraved itself in our minds as one of the coolest monsters in recent movie history. Metal artist Richard Carey was as stricken as we were, so he created a steel wire with aluminum sculpture with claws, teeth included. And damn, we’re impressed.
All throughout this story you may check several angles of this fantastic creation, along with a couple pics of the process, using mostly wire, and aluminum.
