There’s something about broken records that makes us laugh, the whole idea of surpassing our own limits just for trivial things is just lovely. And if we can feed people in the process it’s even better.
The fact that someone tracks the records for largest burger in the world is already great by itself, but, turns out the record has just been broken by the people at the Black Bear Casino Resort in Minnesota.Meet this incredible 2,014-pound, 10-foot round bacon cheeseburger, and imagine trying to savor it. How long do you think it’d take you to finish?
Philip Robertson, the Guinness Records representative verified the record for the biggest burger, and called it the result of “remarkable teamwork”. On top of that, he added that the burger “actually tastes really good.” See, now this guy might have the coolest job in the world.
The burger itself is made out of 60 pounds of bacon, 50 pounds of lettuce, 50 pounds of sliced onions, 40 pounds of pickles and 40 pounds of cheese. Cooking the patty took four hours, and they had to use a crane to flip it. That’s all very interesting, but we’re just curious about how many people it took to eat this monster.
