Out of all the physical spaces where someone can draw, why would anyone choose a banana? Well, to Phil Hansen the question was “why not”?
What multimedia artist Phil Hansen did, exactly, is use a technique similar to pointillism with tattooing tools over bananas to recreate some of the most well known works of art in the world.
Amongst these pieces, readers should be able to recognize Edgar Degas’ dancers, The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo, Birth of Venus by Andro Botticelli and Skull with Burning Cigarette by Vincent van Gogh.
